Prenatal Paternity Testing
GTL can perform DNA testing during pregnancy, or prenatal DNA testing, using DNA samples taken between 11 and 23 weeks of the pregnancy. DNA samples must be collected by an obstetrician or gynaecologist by carrying out a chorionic villous sampling (CVS) or amniocentesis procedure.

Sibling DNA Test
Siblingship DNA testing determines the statistical probability of whether or not siblings (brothers and sisters) share the same two parents. Unlike paternity testing, sibling DNA tests are not able to provide a conclusive result. A DNA sibling test is able to calculate the probability of whether the tested applicants have one parent in common, two parents in common or are unrelated.
It should be noted that including one common parent in the test will greatly increase the accuracy.

Twin Zygosity DNA Test
Zygosity testing establishes whether siblings are identical twins, fraternal twins or siblings. If parental DNA samples are provided, paternity and/or maternity can also be determined.

Grandparent DNA Test
Grandparent DNA testing determines the statistical probability that a person is the grandparent of a child. This type of avuncular DNA test can calculate the probability that an adult is the grandparent of a child.
Unfortunately, because of the nature of the relationship, conclusive results cannot be derived. The accuracy of the test is increased if one of the child's parents is also tested.

Aunt & Uncle DNA Testing
Similar to our grandparent DNA tests, Aunt and Uncle DNA testing identifies the avuncular relationship between a child and possible Aunt and/or Uncle.
To increase the accuracy of this DNA test, it is recommended that one of the child's biological parents is also tested.

If time is an important factor and you need to get your DNA test started as quickly as possible, our Collect & Send™ Today DNA test is the most convenient and discrete DNA testing kit available.
There is no need to wait for your DNA test kit to arrive and no reason to worry about a paternity testing kit being delivered to your home or office. Simply print the registration forms, collect the DNA samples using cotton buds at your own home and post to us for testing.

DNA Testing & Paternity Test Results Pickup Code
To make the DNA testing process as convenient as possible, GTL provides a pickup code to enable our clients to view and print paternity testing and DNA test results the same day the report is generated.
The pickup code will be provided by email and/or letter when we confirm that we have received your DNA samples for testing.
Please note that lost pickup codes can take up to 48 hours to be reissued and an administration fee of £25 applies. Identification will also have to be verified.
Rush Processing Options for DNA Testing & Paternity Test Results
If your DNA test results are needed urgently, we offer rush processing options at additional cost.
